A recreation of The Nightmare by Henry Fuseli. I love this painting for more than just its creepy imagery and lighting. It represents to me every mysterious phenomenon throughout humankind’s development that were explained through supernatural means. As we discover more about the world and ourselves, those supernatural constructs fall over and over again.Â
