Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a small woman of immense stature whose legacy deserves to be celebrated by all who champion civil rights and gender equality, and whose absence will be felt for decades to come.

I chose to extend the void of the background into her judicial robes to emphasize the frightening void left by her vacancy in the supreme court.
