“Ode to a Falling Star” serves as a lament for America’s descent into fascism, capturing the pivotal moment before catastrophe. A naked figure embraces the voice of wrath as she is cast from heaven, plummeting towards a bleak and desolate future. Suspended around them drift the indifferent and the distracted, simultaneously imp and cherub, playing a farcical lullaby for the damned.
